RCSA Intracoastal Spring Update

Our Middle School Science Olympiad team recently competed in the Regional Science Olympiad competition and represented our school with excellence. Through dedication, preparation, and strong teamwork, students achieved 16 Top 10 placements across multiple events. In addition, three teams earned 3rd place overall in their events, receiving medals for their outstanding performance.


Perennial Math – Team Tournaments (Students Qualified for Nationals)

2nd place (out of 30 teams)- 3rd& 4th grade team in Winter Dash tournament

2nd place (out of 34 teams)-5th & 6th grade team in Winter Dash tournament

3rd place (out of 15 teams) -3rd Grade team in Jack Frost tournament

4th place (out of 40 teams)-4th Grade team in Jack Frost tournament

2nd place (out 23 teams)-5th grade team in Jack Frost tournament

2nd place (out of 16 teams)- 6th grade team in Jack Frost tournament

Perennial Math-Individual Tournaments (Students Qualified for Nationals)

Mathgiving Tournament- 3 students got 2nd place , 3 students got 3rd place

Math-o-Thermia Tournament- 3 students got 3rd place, 1 student got 2nd place

IHeart Tournament- 2 students got 3rd place


Our Mathletes competed in the MathCounts Competition where two students got top 25% ranking!


Ten middle school students were selected to compete at the District level of National History Day, representing our school across six different project categories. At the district competition, students earned 1st place in the Website category and 2nd place in the Performance category. These two projects will advance to compete at the National History Day state competition.


Congratulations to the RCSA Intracoastal Speech and Debate Team on placing in the top 10 at their most recent regional tournament and qualifying for the FCDI State Championship.

In total, there were 511 competitors from 114 different teams in attendance.

In the Declamation category, Sara B. won 3rd place, Madison R. won 2nd place and Puthiheureka M. won 1st place. 

In Extemporaneous Debate, Alexander H. won 9th place.

In Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Alana M. won 4th place. 


Our middle school students also represented our school proudly at the District Science Fair.

A total of 10 students advanced to the district competition, showcasing the results of their hard work, creativity, and scientific inquiry. Our students earned three overall placements, including 1st place and 3rd place overall in the 7th grade division, as well as 3rd place overall in the 8th grade division.
