We are beyond proud to share some exciting news from one of our own! Emili Shkulaku, a 10-year-old student at River City Science Academy Southeast, has just published her very first book, Night Stories — a 296-page novel written for readers aged 8 to 16.
A Dream Brought to Life
Emili didn’t just write a short story or a few chapters – she filled almost 300 pages with imagination, creativity, and world-building that reaches beyond her years. It’s a reminder that passion and perseverance have no age limit. The novel is now available on Amazon.
Inspiration & Purpose
In Night Stories, Emili gives readers ages 8-16 a chance to explore themes and stories that resonate with young people — fears, dreams, and all the nighttime wonders that come alive in our minds. Her decision to write for this age range shows she’s thinking deeply about her audience and what they might find exciting, comforting, or adventurous.
What This Means for Our School Community
This achievement is more than just a personal milestone — it’s an inspiration to all of us at RCSA. From her classmates to her teachers, we’re reminded of what can happen when young people are encouraged and supported. Emili’s journey shows that creativity and hard work can lead to something truly special.
Looking Ahead
We can’t wait to see what Emili does next. Whether she writes more stories, continues building her literary voice, or inspires others to pick up a pen, we know this is just the beginning.
