We are proud to share that the City of Jacksonville has officially proclaimed July 31, 2025, as RCSA KickStart Day, recognizing the incredible contributions of River City Science Academy educators, staff, and administrators.

KickStart is our annual staff-wide celebration held just before the school year begins. It brings together teachers, counselors, instructional staff, facilities crews, and administrators from all campuses for a day of connection, motivation, and appreciation. This tradition honors the many individuals who work tirelessly to create safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environments for Jacksonville students.

Mayor Donna Deegan’s proclamation highlights the essential role educators play in supporting student success and acknowledges the way KickStart builds unity across our school community. By recognizing the efforts of those who guide, support, and inspire our students, the proclamation shines a light on the spirit of collaboration and dedication that makes RCSA thrive.
