River City Science Academy Elementary had the wonderful opportunity of hosting Mayor Donna Deegan for Read Across America Day. Not only did she read to some of our students but they also got the opportunity to pick out a book of their choice from the Mayor Deegan’s River City Readers book mobile. She also donated 200 backpacks to our campus. It was an inspiring moment of connection, encouraging young minds to explore the world of books and the power of imagination. Here’s to fostering a love for learning in our future leaders!
