RCSA SeaPerch Team Aquarius members Justin Duke (12th grade) and Sam Pham (10th grade) are RCSA Mandarin Alumni. They began their interest in SeaPerch and continued representing the Mandarin campus in 2023. Team Aquarius competed in RoboNation’s 13th Annual International SeaPerch Challenge. Teams traveled from across Puerto Rico, Kuwait, Egypt, and China. Team Aquarius placed first in the obstacle and mission courses and were the overall high school stock class champions.
Aquarius placed first in two of three regional competitions, which earned an invite to the 14th Annual International SeaPerch Challenge held on June 1, 2024, at the University of Maryland, College Park. Team Aquarius finished fourth place in the obstacle course, and first place in the mission course and were the overall high school stock class champions for the second year in a row!
Next season, Team Aquarius plans to join Team Nautilus to share ideas, and experience, and recruit more teammates to continue and build a strong SeaPerch program at River City Science Academy High School!

At their field day, RCSA Mandarin staff and students enjoyed the delicious low sugar drinks, Plezi, donated to all of the campus locations.
