School Spotlights January

RCSA Southeast

RCSA Southeast will be hosting B3 2^nd Children Business Fair on February 24, 2024.

It will be a public/community event so please encourage everyone to attend the event and support Youth entrepreneurs.

All students age 6 to 14 can apply for the Booth and only pay the booth fee if their business is selected.

Kindly see attached flyer for the same.

All RCSA students who apply and get accepted will get a 20% discount on the Booth Fee.

LifeSouth will be accepting donations at our upcoming STEM Expo on February 3rd and again at the Middle-High Campus on Tuesday, February 6^th (8:30am to 2pm) to make sure we reach the numbers we need to earn the additional $1,000 sponsorship toward the Middle-High sports programs!

The RCSA Science Olympiad Middle and High school teams attended nationwide invitational tournament on December 2^nd . There were 151 middle school teams and 230 teams in the high school division, including last 5 year’s National Science Olympiad champions.

Here are the incredible results.

In middle school division, RCSA Rockets placed 10^th overall among 151 teams and received:

1^st place in Ecology by Deshaun H. & Eren D.
3^rd place in Wheeled Vehicle by Eren D. & Aeden A.
5^th place in Air Trajectory by Jomary N. & Rishi K.
6^th place in Crime Busters by Joshua N. & Kylen N.

In high school division, RCSA RaTs placed 39^th overall among 230 teams and received:

2^nd place in Flight by Jean F. & Aryan P.
2^nd place in Scrambler by Denny K. & Aryan P.
3^rd place in Detector Building by Ty L.& Peter P.
4^th place in Anatomy by Victoria P. & Hiva M.
4^th place in Wind Power by Jean F. & Denny K.

The RCSA Middle School Science Olympiad Teams, Rockets, Rocketeers, and Rising Stars attended one another nationwide invitational tournament on December 9th .

The RCSA Rockets placed 2nd and the Rocketeers placed 6th overall, among 46 teams and received;

Four 1^st
One 2^nd
Six 3^rd
And Three 4^th placements

At the Middle-High homecoming basketball game, the spirit squad provided the JV and Varsity boys with a custom shirt to present a staff member who has influenced them.
