River City Science Academy was recognized on the House Floor yesterday during the #STEMDay at the Capitol event in Tallahassee. Some of our middle and high students were able to make strong connections with our legislators during their visit. Senator Clay Yarborough, Representative Kiyan Michael, and Senator Tracie Davis visited, among others.

Great conversations were had regarding the importance of partnerships between museums, industry and academia to fill the #STEM pipeline and the need for increased funding to support these efforts.
