River City Science Academy Middle-High (RCSA MHS) is sending three graduating seniors to Ivy League and Ivy Plus schools starting this upcoming fall.

Among RCSA MHS’s senior class, Aleks I. is attending MIT, Hasan A. is attending Princeton and Riley E. is attending UPenn.

These schools are extremely difficult to be admitted to, as Princeton, ranked #1, has a 4.4% acceptance rate, MIT, ranked #2, has a 4.1% acceptance rate and UPenn, ranked #7, sits at 6%, according to US News.

With a small graduating class of around 100 students, this means at least 3% of seniors are attending a top 10 university.

Students were asked how their time at RCSA has helped them achieve their success.

“I feel as though the small community here at RCSA MHS has helped me connect with my instructors and peers,” said Alsaedi, “allowing me to pursue my academic prowess more effectively.”
