River City Science Academy Middle-High (RCSA MHS) raised $1,848 for Pink Ribbon Jax. RCSA High-School students decided to organize a Breast Cancer Spirit Week during October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Five high school clubs picked themes that they believed would increase participation. The themes were Pajama Day, Tropical Day, Rainbow Day, Decade Day, and of course, PINK OUT DAY! Students paid to dress down to support Pink Ribbon Jax. Students were excited to hear how their contributions would go directly to serve the Jacksonville community. With their contributions, RCSA MHS was able to fund 6 mammograms for individuals in the Jacksonville community.
