Wednesday, February 3rd marked this year’s World Read Aloud Day, and RCSA Elementary as well as our students learning from home had such a fun time participating!

With 173+ countries celebrating, World Read Aloud Day has been a global tradition for twelve years now. Started by a nonprofit called LitWorld, an organization involved in strengthening communities through reading and writing, WRAD “is all about bringing people together through stories.” According to Scholastic, more than 80% of families enjoy read-aloud time, because it involves each other, and time together should always be cherished.

Connecting with one another is more crucial than ever during a time like this, and we are so proud of our students for participating in WRAD!
