RCSA Celebrates National School Choice Week

The week of January 24th marked this year’s National School Choice Week, and RCSA Elementary had a blast (no pun intended) celebrating with many activities, such as interviews and projects, as shown in this fun video! Action News Jax was happy to join us, as were a few members of Leadership Jacksonville, who were invited to tour with us in order to learn more about RCSA and charter schools in general.

National School Choice Week was started in 2011 as a way to spread awareness of all the different types of schools parents choose for their children. “Every child is unique, and all children learn differently.” Each school is unique as well, which is why having the ability to choose is so important!

On February 1st, NSCW President Andrew R. Campanella presented RCSA with an award “in recognition of tireless dedication to providing all children with access to effective education options and for participation in National School Choice Week 2021.”

As always, we are so thankful for the parents that chose RCSA to be the home-away-from-home for their children! You make all of this possible, and it is an honor to teach your children every day.
