Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2—Dr. Seuss’s birthday. RCSA celebrated on Friday, March 1st in a new and exciting way! We invited many of Jacksonville’s local news anchors, reporters, and meteorologists to visit our elementary school classrooms and read with them.
We had great support from the Jacksonville community and welcomed 12 distinguished guests to our classes to share their love of reading with our students.
