Last year, the Downtown Rotary chartered an Interact Club at RCSA Middle-High.

Interact is the junior division of the international Rotary Club, dedicated to service.

This month, the Interact Club completed two service projects to help those in need near and far.

First, each homeroom collected donations of toiletry items to send to Puerto Rico. Seven large boxes of supplies were shipped, and employees on the ground will transport the goods directly to those who face destruction.

Interact also assisted with the Cookies for Cans initiative sponsored by SLA Food Service. In four days, Interact collected hundreds of canned foods to donate to the homeless.

Students hand-delivered the cans to the Clara White Mission in Downtown Jacksonville where they will be used for daily meal and Thanksgiving prep. Thank you to all the hardworking RCSA students for embracing the spirit of giving back.
