Innovation Families Dive Into STEM

Packs of parents joined students and teachers at RCSA Innovation Tuesday night for STEM Night.

Families explored several different interactive stations run by school staff and students. They got hands-on experience in coding, building bridges and running electrical currents. They learned about perimeter, density, energy and force.

The green screen photo booth was a crowd favorite, allowing for unique family photos in space.

The night ended with a competition in which families constructed 30cm tall towers that could hold a ball and withstand wind. Parents experienced the types of STEM challenges RCSA students tackle daily, honing their creativity and problem solving skills.

Thanks to the hard work of teachers and staff, families were able to share a fun-filled night of STEM education.
